Christmas was so exciting this year at our house.  We thought for sure Sawyer would tear into all of the gifts.  Instead he wasn't very interested in opening gifts but when he did he would tear one piece of paper at a time, it was very cute.  We had a VERY busy couple of days!  On Christmas Eve day we ventured out in the snow and went to see Grandpa Todd, Grandma June, Great Gpa Chuck, Great Aunt Ann, and Uncles Brad and BJ.  Sawyer was very spoiled with gifts!  He received a rocking/bouncing horse, a musical drum, chuck the truck, a sit and spin, john deere dishes and more!  Our car was FULL when we left Reinbeck.  Christmas eve night we spent with Dustin's family, Oma and great grandma Frohn.  Sawyer was a little more interested in the gifts and opened a few.  He got some books, a race track, some blocks, and more.  We ate supper and then made our way home.

Christmas morning Sawyer woke up and walked out into the living room.  Santa placed the presents where he thought Sawyer would see them first thing but somehow he missed them and went straight for his toybox, haha.  So with some coaxing he finally realized there were presents.  He tore a few pieces of paper off the gifts but again Mommy opened most of them for him.  Santa was very generous to our little man.  Sawyer got a BIG bag of Mega Blocks, a Mega Blocks table, a little work bench, books, the movie Bolt, and more!  After breakfast we headed to Grandma Gigi's and Papa's house in New Hartford.  There we opened more gifts, a cars bean bag chair, a little people airport, books, clothes, and more.  That afternoon for lunch we headed to Plainfield for lunch with Ashlee's family.  Sawyer had so much fun playing with his cousin's Emma and Avery.  He even tried to climb in the baby swing with baby Mia.

Now begins the task of trying to go through the old toys and mix in the new.  Our plan for 2011 is to turn our upstairs attic into a toy room.  It is mostly finished already but we use it for storage space right now.  We think it will make a great playroom for our little guy and then hopefully give us some space back in our living room. :)
